Kdrama news that happened recently and struck a chord with me:
Lee Jun-ki , Shin Mi-na's [Arang and the Magistrate] Premiere Date Pushed Back
"Though originally slated to premiere towards the end of this month was delayed due to the upcoming London Olympics and the drama will instead premiere after the conclusion of the Olympics." (enewsworld) So from the much anticipated July 25th, the date has been pushed to a long August the 15th.This couldn't be more of a reason to curse the olympics would it? What better time could you have come Mr. Olympics...
Korean version Hana-Kimi Holds it's Script-reading Session
Yup, you heard right. The Japanese did it, Taiwan did it, and now it's Korea's turn! Although the title is "To the Beautiful You" which...kind of gives you a "You're Beautiful" feel. And what do you know, that show was also about a cross-dressing female that slipped into a boy-band to replace her brother. Honestly, not looking forward to this drama at all, but just thought about it because Kim Ji-won's in here and I turned into a fan after watching "High-Kick 3". Never finished the Japanese or the Taiwan version, so I don't expect myself to watch this one...
Stills, Trailers from anticipated Time-Slip drama "Faith" Starring Kim Hee Sun and Lee Min-Ho.
Despite all the 'time-travelling' dramas that have come out, I never was really interested in any of them, but I was keeping my eye on "Faith". I can't say what made me feel interested, but it could have been the combination of the cast, synopsis, or the prominent 'behind-the-scenes' team. Or maybe I felt that this would be a 'epic' drama? Anyway, Kim Hee Sun never looks like she aged (!) but I kinda feel shifty on the romance she'll have with Lee Min-ho (you see, I never really was a fan of these 'older-woman, younger guy relationships). Looks like she could be his aunt. However, I could care less about the romance, just give me some fighting scenes, political intrigue, gorgeous scenery, dramatic medical scenes and I'm totally in!
