Look-A-Like's #1

First post on a topic I've always wanted to post. And that is "Look-a-Likes" !I'm sure everyone has had those moments where we have to double-check our eyes to see if the person we were looking at was really who we thought they were. Although everyone's perception on similarity will vary, these are my perceptions.

Hyun Woo-Sung (현우성) VS. Park Si-Hoo (박시후)

Thoughts: So how did I suddenly come up with these two? 

I was watching a drama (that I will recommend later on) called  "Heaven's Garden", a drama probably not well-known to many because it's a cable drama and the genre does not appeal to a great audience, and Hyun Woo-Sung appeared in the first episode. I did not know who he was, but I suddenly had a double-take and asked myself, isn't that Park Si-Hoo? First of all, I've only seen Park Si-Hoo in pictures and drama recaps, I haven't watched any of his shows but I just remember his face. But no, it wasn't! So that was my "double-take" moment which prompted me to introduce this first addition to my "Look-a-Like's" special. 

*personally, I think Hyun Woo-Sung looks better ;)

Let's face it. Korean dramas are so plentiful, there is just not enough time to watch every single one.  Perhaps you didn't have time for a drama everyone raved about in 2009 or wanted to go back in time to the starting point of korean drama craze to watch some classics. So recently, since I had 'plenty' of time, I started thinking of shows I wanted to watch that had already aired. Be it one or two years ago, or even more! What am I watching right now? It's a combination of recent and old! I think one of the bad 'flaws' of my drama-watching is that I'm impatient and tend to give up easily. I can watch a drama until the 2nd to last episode...and stop right there. I really can't give an explanation to my sporadic and spontaneous behaviour.


With 'real-time' dramas airing, I tend to give up on them easier because it gets easy to lose interest on the way (because of that waiting period). I think I should try to wait for a drama to be completed before I delve into it, but...that would never happen.

tidbit: On MBC section TV, Lee Jun Ki reveals every time he sees Shin Mina portraying 'Arang', he also  sees Shin Mina as an actress. To add, he says working with Shin Mina everyday brings him happiness.
